A restaurant is busiest when an office is empty. The frontage has to look right from late morning onward, which means the work is finished before that, not squeezed into the middle of service.
Furniture goes out over the ground we came to look after, in the season it matters most. We work before it is set out, and we do not move your furniture to reach a bed.
A pedestrian strip in July is not a place to run a blower at noon. Early starts are not a courtesy here, they are the only way the work gets done properly.
Marine Drive, along the water. Between West Beach and East Beach the frontage is paved, the planting is in containers, and salt is in the wind off Semiahmoo Bay. Access is from the sidewalk, with people on it. Watering frequency and tidy edges carry the job.
Short cycles through the summer, earlier starts, and smaller equipment than a lawn crew would bring.
Johnston Road and Five Corners, up the hill. Where Johnston Road, Buena Vista Avenue and Pacific Avenue meet is the town centre’s shopping and dining hub, and the retail and office property around it mostly has real ground: lawn panels, parking islands, hedge screens and beds that behave like beds.
Normal business hours, a longer cycle, and the equipment you would expect. One contract can cover both districts; the schedules inside it should not be the same.
What we refer out. Snow and ice clearing is not a service we offer. Large tree removals and stump grinding go to a certified arborist or a removal contractor. We do not build retaining walls, we do not lay paving or pavers, and we do not install hardscaping, so we work with the surfaces already on your site rather than changing them. A new irrigation install is a separate trade.
Pruning above what a ladder reaches is on the tree pruning page. Shared residential grounds are on the White Rock strata page.
Yes, and on Marine Drive that is usually most of the work. Containers, window boxes and raised beds go on a written rotation, with soil topped up as it settles and anything failing flagged to you.
Early enough to be finished before late morning trade, and before patio furniture is set out in summer. The time is written into the quote so your staff know when to expect us.
It changes what survives. Frontage close to the water takes wind off the bay, and plant chosen only for colour tends to burn off. We will say so before it goes in rather than after.
Yes. The sites are different jobs, so the visit frequency and the equipment differ between them, but they sit on one scope and one invoice.
A WCB clearance and a certificate of insurance. Ask and we will send both before a crew is on site.
Short cycles through the growing season, and shorter again on containers in a hot spell, then less often over winter. The rotation is part of the written scope.
No. Winter clearing is not a service we offer, so a property that needs it should have someone lined up before the season.
No, none of those, and each is a separate trade. We look after the planting and the soft landscape and leave the built surfaces as we find them.
